About Us
A Ministry of Education
Over the years, our ministry of loving service has also become a ministry of education.
About 1,500 students volunteer with us each year— college, high school, and middle school students. They are often shocked and transformed by the poverty they witness in their own communities.
Students come to know those we serve as individuals in need of a loving, helping hand rather than a nameless, faceless group of people called “the poor.” They come away with a genuine concern and compassion for others that shapes their adult lives and has long-term benefits for us all.
By inspiring young people to lives of service, My Brother’s Keeper is effecting systemic change and making a positive long-term difference for our community and world.
